Recently the Aspens have only been getting prettier and prettier as fall starts to spread. With the threat of a big snowstorm (which arrived), I went out and snapped a few pictures of the golden leaves.
I love how you can see the changes in different groves spread out on the mountain. It reminds me of looking out an airplane window and seeing the ground below.
These are all from hiking up Vail’s Golden Peak, aptly named. The top of the hill is covered in Aspens and has been making a gradual change that I can see from work everyday.
I had a hard time editing these down too… Fall is just my favorite season.
Its been so great to see Vail through all of these different seasons. Each one leads you to discover something new.
Most of these photos are hardly edited, the colors were just that bright and the sky that rich blue. It was an awesome hike to say the least.
