A melting Lake Dillon

Happy Memorial day weekend! While these photos aren’t exactly memorial day weather I thought they were just lovely to share. These are all from Lake Dillon near Silverthorne, Colorado in mid-April when the ice was just beginning to melt. I love Lake Dillion and especially love watching it change from a beautiful lake to a cold iced over winter wonderland. The backdrop of the surrounding mountains doesn’t hurt either. Hope you like them! For anyone missing the slightly cold weather like me this color palette will sure bring you back!

    love the views of Lake Dillon in the winter/spring. Your photography is real, brings one to feeling the cold and beauty of the season.
