So this summer I studied at Central St. Martins college of Art and Design, part of the University of the Arts London. This is where I took experimental fashion knitwear and created the knit dress in the portfolio section.
The beauty of the city of London struck me. I love European cities in general, but London reminded me a little more of New York, in a European style of course. Here are a few of the pictures that I took while there. I took so many and tried to narrow it down to my favorites. I am going to put them up here in three different parts.
Tea time at Cafe Bella Maria. The only english breakfast I got while in London (see instagram), was for a lunch! Positively delicious though and love the decor and homey feel of this restaurant.
Beautiful flower boxes over in Kensington.
Side of the Albert memorial in Hyde Park.
Self titled “Karma Kar” in Notting Hill. Love the plastic flowers on the front and back of this car and the colors of the neighborhood! The inside of the car is decked out in lush pink Indian style fabrics.
Neal’s Yard. Awesome colors hidden in this corner.
Last but not least roses in front of St. Pauls Church, love the grey against the pink.
More to come soon! Hope you enjoy.
